New Year's Eve celebration was had with Steffi at The Inn at Union Pier. Our first bed and breakfast was located in a cozy town 75 minutes from Chicago (assuming you take the expressway). The Captain's Quarters had a wood-burning antique Swedish fireplace, also know as "kakelugns." Breakfast was tasty and bountiful. I would recommend this place. Rumor has it that the owners are looking to sell the place. Go before the inn keepers, Bill and Joyce Jann, move on.
